Tuition Policies

Tuition and fees are subject to change. Prospective and enrolled students should check with the MCC Office of Admissions, Registrar, and/or Business Office after May 15 for the approved tuition and fee rates for the Fall 2009 semester.

Registration is not complete until fees are paid. MasterCard, Visa and Discover may be used for payment of tuition, fees and books. August 17, 2009 is the last day to pay fees or make arrangements (see below) for payment to avoid cancellation of registration.

Students who have been approved for financial aid for the Fall 2009 semester will have their tuition and fees deferred until financial aid is received. Students whose tuition is paid by a third party such as a government agency, scholarship, or employer should consult with Business Office personnel to make sure documentation is on file to defer their tuition and fees.

Payment Plan

KCTCS offers the FACTS Tuition Payment Plan to enable you to more easily afford your education expenses. You may make payments by either automatic bank payments or by charging payments to your Visa or MasterCard. Because FACTS is not a loan program, there is not debt incurred, no credit search and there is no interest or finance charges assessed by FACTS on unpaid balances. FACTS charges a $25 per semester non-refundable fee to enroll and participate in the program.
