Teaching Responsibilities:
Lead Instructor of 4th semester of RN program with focus on Obstetrics and Pediatrics
Lecture content includes Newborn, Introduction to Pediatrics, Pediatric F/E, Endocrine, Infectious diseases, Immune Disorders, Integumentary alterations, Cancers, Gastrointestinal Alterations, Genitourinary Alterations, Neurological Alterations, Cognitive and Sensory Alterations.
Campus Lab content includes Newborn, L&D, Postpartum, Women’s Health Issues, Peds Medications, Peds Coping strategies, Peds Stress and Diversion strategies, Peds Sleep and Rest Alterations, Peds Restraints, Pediatric Assessment.
Clinical experiences include 66 hours of supervised OB clinical and management of 90 hours of preceptor clinical, 30 hours of Pediatric clinical experiences.
